Out of your thousand friends' list, how many would you consider as your truest friend? We have different sets of friends. We could have our childhood friends, hang-out friends or even different sets of friends from school or work.
Whether we have thousands or just a few numbers of friends, what matter most is that we have at least one best and true friend whom we can trust and share everything that we have in life.
I greatly believe that no one is an island. In this crazy and playful world, we cannot survive alone without having someone to lean on. It doesn't mean that we have to completely depend our lives to somebody else but we still need someone to comfort us when we have problems; or someone to share with our happiness and achievements; or someone to remind and scold us when we are talking the wrong path. This is what a real friend is all about.
However, there are certain things that you cannot avoid. There will come a time that you need to go on separate ways but it doesn't mean that your friendship is over as long as you continue taking care of it. Time and distance will never be an issue especially right now where technology is helping every relationship to become stronger.
