The Madden NFL football franchise has been around for over 15 years. It has solidified itself as the world's favorite NFL football game. It has been the best selling franchise for several years straight and some will say for good reason. The game has hardly any major competitors that can even think about being on the same level. Players of the game are so competitive that a tournament is held every year. The newest addition to the game is the 3 vs. 3 game mode and is being added to the Madden 11 tournaments.
The greatest and most competitive Madden players unite every year to compete for prizes. Cash prizes can be up in the high thousands of dollars. There are also gift prizes that are usually a game console or some other wanted item. There are several tournaments held across the country of different skill levels and sizes. You should have no problem finding one near you and of your interest.
The very creative people at Electronic Arts (makers of Madden) have done an excellent job in capturing the NFL experience. The game modes that they offer go very deep into detail. The franchise mode makes you feel like you really own the team as you handle every aspect of the business. There is no question as to why their product is the most popular.
You might as well make some money from doing something you were going to do anyways. If you think you got the skills and heart to go up against the best then prove it. Its about time you start playing against some real competition and stop beating up on your little brother. Show the world who's the real champion and make some money while your at it.
EA does hold a yearly tournament, but it is extremely hard to qualify. You will no longer be playing against your little brother or sister. You'll be playing against people who live, breathe, and sweat the game. You wouldn't want to embarrass yourself on the big screen.
If you are one of those people who don't like playing against the computer because it is too hard, then don't bother signing up. You will waste your time and will be the laughing stock of your crowd. If you are one of those people who loose against the computer a little too much, then don't bother signing up either. To compete against the best, you have to be able to beat the computer consistently.
If you are a true fan then you cant deny you have imagined winning a major madden tournament. It is almost equal to winning a super bowl ring. All of your hard work and preparation, all of those hours on your sofa in front of your tv will finally be worth something. Your wife could no longer call you lazy.
Looking at that screen becomes your life. Your controller becomes your pride and joy. You start to massage your thumbs and exercise your fingers. You will do all of this in an attempt to win it all. You have that pride and national bragging rights.
